Building a Courageous Community in which All Youth Can Succeed

Community Events
Citywide Youth Coalition hosts informative networking events throughout the year to build  a courageous community toward working together in which all youth can succeed.  All of our events are open to the community and free or low cost thanks to our members and funders. 

We host monthly coalition meetings with presentations by area leaders as well as networking and announcements.

In 2010, we are hosting:

  • Making the Case: Evaluating Youth Outcomes training on May 19, 2010, with special guest Carla Roach, of the Innovation Center for Community and Youth Development.  Download PowerPoint presentation here (PDF). 

  • CWYC Breakfast and awards on June 23, 2010

  • An autumn event is planning stages.

In 2009, we hosted several special events.  Check out these pages for photos and summaries.
  • Summer Summit to help organizations plan for summer programming.

  • Youth Walk to bring youth together from all over the city, and to raise funds for after-school programs.

  • Celebrate Youth Day to raise awareness of positive youth development.
