About Us

City Wide Youth Coalition (CWYC) is a network of over forty youth serving agencies and resource people working to enhance the lives of New Haven's children, youth and their families.

Mission

The mission of the City Wide Youth Coalition is to unite the strengths of member organizations in order to enhance the lives of children, youth and families in greater New Haven

Objectives

Enhance agency and staff capability through training opportunities, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Assist member agancies to utilize citywide, regional and statewide resources.
Advocate with young people to assure them a voice in creating a "Youth Agenda".
Expand Positive Youth Development initiatives, family and neighborhood supports, vocational skills, development and employment options for all young people.
Youth Development and Enrichment Programs in school and community sites.
